Good Morning. I started this blog as a means to effectively communicate with the people who are interested in Structural Integration and its application to horses and dogs (equines and canines).
Over the next few weeks I'll be putting some video and more thoughts up.

Hi Jim. I read through all the entries and watched the video of Skippy. I appreciate you setting up this blog, a fun read. I hope you continue posting.

So, my question is about Structural Integration as applied to quadrupeds.

My understanding was that SI theory viewed the structural difficulties in humans as something due specifically to gravity acting on an unorganized and bipedal structure. I suppose it was assumed that being a quadruped was a solution to these ills - that the extra two limbs contacting the ground would itself be enough to support the structure in the gravitational field.

I would guess, because you work on horses, that you haven't found this to be the case. That having four legs doesn't make your body perfect, and that horses too can get their bodies into trouble. Curious what you perceive as the source of this trouble and how similar it is to what humans experience.
